i write this on post it notes because im not a poet
i dont have black notebooks with ribbon bookmarks
and i dont have interesting thoughts
but i can tell you what i do have
a ten foot long list of things i hate
like
rain
ambulances
Republicans
and i cant remember the rest
i have a boy who holds me
and i have a job that i dont know how to feel about
i have a stuttering problem
i have a disease
and now i have a handful of post-it notes that mean nothing.
